Your First Visit to Our Sonora Practice
Your first visit to our office will be longer than subsequent visits, as we are meeting to discuss your health for the very first time. There may be a lot of history to cover, as well as tests to perform in completing your initial examination, all of which will be used to develop a customized treatment strategy for you.
One hour is typically sufficient for this first appointment, but we ask that you complete your paperwork in advance and provide any historical medical information relevant to your condition to our office at least one day prior to your first appointment with us. This strategy allows us to make the best use of our time together.
Unless your condition warrants it, you will not receive x-rays before starting care. We strive to minimize each patient's exposure to harmful radiation as much as possible, but patients requiring x-rays will be referred out locally for this service when necessary.
Once we've completed your initial exam, we'll have a good idea of how to approach your care and we can discuss the exam findings and explore an appropriate treatment strategy for you from there.
